How do I get paid?

All purchases on the site are paid for via our secure payment provider, Stripe (stripe.com). The money goes directly into your own Stripe account. The funds can then be transferred to your Bank Account.

Stripe transaction fees are as follows:
1.5% + 20p for standard UK cards and 2.5% + 20p for EU cards.

You can sign up to Stripe after joining MadeMe via a simple one page form.
If you already have a Stripe account you can connect your existing account with one click.
 
Your customers do not need a Stripe account to make a purchase and will be unaware that this is the payment provider we use. They will simply be aware that they are making a secure credit card payment.
What can I sell?

On MadeMe we only allow items that are handmade/designed by you or craft supplies. Vintage items are allowed as long as the original appearance has been significantly altered.

Do customers need to create a MadeMe account to checkout?

No, customers can checkout without the need to create an account on our site.

Can I join if I am not in the UK?

No, sorry we only allow UK sellers on our site.

How will I be notified of a sale?

When an order is placed you will receive an email notification, which will contain all of the order details. You can also view the order by logging into your MadeMe account.
