Hey there! I’m Melanie, the face and hands behind the shop.
My jewellery journey actually started in a really unexpected way back in January 2026. After losing my sweet grandson, Miles, I wanted a way to keep a piece of his memory close, so I started encasing his tribute flowers in resin to preserve them.
While creating those keepsake pieces, I accidentally stumbled into the world of wire-wrapped jewellery—and honestly, I was completely hooked. That opened the door to a whole world of crafting, and soon I was mixing in colourful beads, pearls, and unique stones to make fun, everyday statement pieces.
What started as a way to heal quickly turned into a full-blown obsession. Ever since then, I’ve been busy crafting wire and beaded jewels every single day.

Welcome to my shop! By placing an order with me on MadeMe, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About Me
This shop is owned and operated by Melanie Morris trading as Funkpop Jewels on MadeMe.co.uk.

2. Ordering & Handmade Nature
Each item is handmade by me (wire-wrapped, resin, or beaded jewellery). Because pieces are crafted individually, slight variations in color, bead placement, or wire formation may occur—making every item unique.
Orders are accepted subject to availability. If a material is out of stock after an order is placed, I will contact you immediately to offer an alternative or a full refund.
3. Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe via the MadeMe checkout system.
Prices are shown in GBP (£). Full payment is required at the time of placing your order.
4. Postage & Delivery
Dispatch Times: Orders are usually crafted and dispatched within [e.g., 2–5 working days]. Custom orders may take longer, which will be agreed upon before purchase.
Delivery Carrier: Orders are shipped via Royal Mail [e.g., 1st Class / 2nd Class Tracked].
Delivery Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout. I am not responsible for delayed or lost parcels due to incorrect details provided by the buyer.
5. Right to Cancel & Returns (UK Consumer Law)
Standard Items (Beaded & Ready-to-Wear Jewellery):
Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving your items without giving a reason.
How to Return: Please notify me by email within 14 days of delivery. Items must be posted back to me within 14 days of notifying me.
Return Shipping Costs: The buyer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item arrived faulty or damaged. I recommend using a tracked service.
Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unworn condition and in their original packaging.
Exceptions to Returns:
Custom or Personalised Orders: Bespoke wire pieces or custom resin keepsake items (including resin encased tribute flowers) cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Earrings / Pierced Jewellery: Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned once opened, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
6. Damaged or Faulty Items
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
If your item arrives damaged in transit or develops a manufacturing fault, please contact me within 30 days of delivery with photos of the defect. I will arrange a replacement or issue a full refund (including postage costs).
7. Care & Safety Instructions
Jewellery Care: To keep your wire and beaded jewellery looking its best, avoid direct contact with water, perfume, hairspray, and lotions. Store in a dry place.
Safety Warning: Jewellery contains small beads, glass components, and fine wire. Keep out of reach of babies and small children as small parts can pose a choking hazard
