Welcome to Crafty Sew & Sew by Marion.

I have been sewing almost my whole life, had great help learning the basics from my Nan and Mum, a wonderful Art Teacher at school who encouraged me further in my Art, Design and Creative Studies and I have always kept my ‘hand in’ whilst raising a family and during my early career.
Crafty Sew & Sew by Marion started to be more than a hobby when thanks to the support and encouragement of family and friends, I was constantly being asked to make bespoke orders. I started at Craft Fairs, regularly selling out and I now have a high turnover at a popular Craft Emporium in South Yorkshire and through my Facebook Page. I also take workshops and host Sew Social events.
I have a dedicated work space (2 large rooms) at home in a smoke-free and pet-free environment and I am well supported by my hubby, who helps with design work and admin (he is more affectionately known as gopher) leaving me free to carry on with my sewing…
I pride myself on making any item with care to the highest standard and everything is superbly hand-finished – I only use high quality fabrics, some even uniquely designed for me. I can use a variety of sewing techniques including patchwork, applique, embroidery, quilting and more.
It is just me that designs and makes everything… helped by my fabulous fabric stock, my wonderful selection of professional sewing and embroidery machines and equipment and not forgetting my hubby who keeps me well fed and watered… I am inspired to be creative…
I usually only have time to fulfil my ‘Made to Order’ customer requests but during Lockdown, I did manage to build up some stock of my handmade fabric creations, which I am slowly listing in my Shop.
So what do I make….. almost anything that can be made from fabric, there are too many items to list individually as I try to make each creation different from the next (unless it is a bulk order…), in fact, all manner of practical and stylish items, pretty enough to be given as an inspirational gift, used in the home or treat yourself.
My handmade fabric creations include Personal Accessories & Essentials (Bags, Face Masks, Purses & pouches, etc.), Special Occasion Memory Keepsakes & Personal Gifts for Friends, Family and Pets, Home Décor Ideas and Solutions (Cushion Covers, Tableware, etc.) and Themed Packages (Seasonal Gifts & Novelty Ideas, etc.)
