SealSandsAnni-Art lives in a little town called Billingham which is on the doorstep of ‘Seal Sands Road that takes you to Saltholme nature & bird reserve on the north east coast of England. My art is needle felting and creating all sorts of lovely sculptures such as birds, animals, mythical creatures and holiday themed characters from wool. I often incorporate mixed media materials collected from the north east beaches such as driftwood, pebbles, sea shells, and sea glass (which I polish myself) and anything else I find on my nature rambles. I also have a passion for crochet and like to create nostaligic works that trip me back down memory lane to my grans house when I was a child, although I tend to needle felt more now than crochet.

I have taken part and exhibited artwork locally which was a fabulous experience, and have held monthly pop up shop stalls On Darlington Railway Station for almost 2 years. Based in Stockton I used to have a shop where I worked and sold my artwork. My husband rented an art studio above the shop, and he too produces his own unique artwork from acrylic paintings. Sadly I had to give up the shop due to continuing family commitments (3 elderly darlings in their 90’s) therefore I had a huge amount of stock created over the past 3 years.

Mademe is now my shop. So please do not think I have gone into needle felting overdrive. A lot of the smaller items I no longer make, I concentrate more on specific animals, but I have listed almost my entire collection which live in ikea cabinets in my dining room ( all 8 of them).
