Handmade with love and care! :o) Using a variety of crafting skills that have been learnt since childhood and developed, the range of items in my shop include knitting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, modern calligraphy and use of digital photos that I have taken. I enjoy using different materials, colours and patterns. So it is rare that I recreate an item exactly the same – therefore my items are 'limited edition' if not 'one-offs'! I also pass on any savings in the cost of raw materials that I have sourced, with my prices reflecting the relative cost of materials used and time taken to create the item (between £1-£2 per hour!). Beautiful brooch that can be used as a brooch for a winter wedding or to add a splash of colour to any outfit. This is one of a range of floral inspired brooches that I make. Perfect for the festive Christmas season or to wear all year round.

The petals of the flower were knitted using a metallic red yarn and then embellished with a beautiful set of shiny gold beads for added texture and interest, emulating the centre of the poinsettia flower. Please see the photos for details of its stunning design, that catches the light.

A silver brooch pin has been sewn to the back making this a very versatile item. It can be used to adorn a coat, jumper, earwarmer, hat, shawl or bag!

This is the smallest version of poinsettia listed in the shop.
Approximate flower size – maximum 7.5cm across.

I was brought up seeing my Mum, Aunt and both Grans as crafters. They taught me the skills of knitting, crochet, embroidery and dressmaking. I also enjoyed learning the skill of calligraphy.

The joy and satisfaction to be had from these crafts has been rediscovered by me as an adult and added to with cardmaking, modern calligraphy/lettering and digital photography.

I use it as a means of relaxation as an antidote to the stresses of everyday life and derive great pleasure from creating both functional and beautiful items. Crafting has been particularly therapeutic over the last few years during times of personal challenges.

This shop gives me the opportunity to share my works with the wider world – literally.

Shipping Policy

Items will be shipped within 3 working days of the order being completed. Items will be combined wherever possible to minimise shipping costs.
National postage amounts are based on UK 2nd class standard postage. This includes compensation up to £20. If the item cost, or combined cost if multiple items, is more than this please contact me to arrange what Royal Mail option will be used instead, such as if you wish a tracked or signed for service to be used. Proof of postage is always aquired.
Wherever possible I like to re-use packaging so please do not be surprised if your package arrives in a delivery bag, envelope or box with a different retailers name on! This helps keep costs down as well as being environmentally friendly :o)
