As an avid lover of polymer clay with an interest in 3D printing and design, I have come up with this new idea to aid in the technique of Mokume Gane. Create your slab as normal and then gently push the press all the way into it, giving a wiggle every so often to loosen it from the clay and prevent sticking. Then remove it and push the clay back into its slab shape. Then rest and slice to see the beautiful pattern. I have also created patterned push pins for that extra bit of interest.
