So who would have thought we could find a new passion in life that we didn’t know even existed? Well, here’s how I became fascinated by the art of glass fusing!
One holiday, I was browsing in a craft shop and I came across an artist behind a clear screen cutting huge sheets of glass, in her protective gloves and safety goggles. I got a little closer and found her display of the most amazing finished pieces of art next to her – I couldn’t believe how sharp sheets of glass could undergo such a transformation into such beautiful pieces of jewellery to be proud of. Completely fascinated by this I decided to go on a course and find out more. Too late to turn back after that – I was hooked! – I spent the train journey home from the course cradling my new creations with pride, wondering if I would be able to re-create this in my own home…? Shortly after, I bought my own kiln and here I am now, having a great time making my own creations. I hope you enjoy my pieces of art..!

PHOTOGRAPHS
We try to take photographs that accurately represent the colours of the keepsake gifts and jewellery. However, glass is notoriously difficult to photograph due to its reflective properties and photographs therefore may not always be a true reproduction of the beautiful piece that you will receive. As each item is handmade there will be slight variation from one product to another. This is why we promise that every piece is individual and truly unique. Bubbles may be present in the fused glass which appear during the fusing process - we believe this can add to the charm of the piece.

We ask that you do not copy or re-produce any of the items which appear in my MadeMe shop as copyright belongs to me. Please note that copyright does not transfer once the item has been sold. This also includes the use of my photos and descriptions as well as the products themselves.
