Make-up Bag/Pencil Case
£4.00
1 in stock
Small makeup or toilet bag made from ‘plastic fabric’ with a zip fastening. Could also be used as a pencil case.
Materials used: packaging from toilet tissue, plastic sheeting and a zip.
2 available; Size (approx.)
1. 22cm x 7.5cm x 12cm with 21cm zip; base is 15cm x 7.5cm – SOLD
2. 22cm x 9cm x 12cm with 28cm zip; base size: 13cm x 9cm
These items are made from ‘plastic fabric’ which I make from a variety of plastic packaging; bread bags, bubble wrap, toilet tissue wrappers, dry cleaner bags, plastic mailing bags, etc. The plastic is either woven or just layered and pressed flat with a hot iron causing the plastic to melt enough to create a ‘fabric’ which is strong enough to be stitched.

I starting crafting at an early age and have always enjoyed trying different crafts as a hobby. I have more recently tried to turn my skills to upcycling so that in a small way I can reduce the amount of rubbish thrown into landfill.
