This black and white print is from an original water colour painting inspired by my travels around the world
Reproduced on Bockingford English watercolour paper, Traditionally made on cylinder mould machines at St Cutherts Mill. This is a high quality paper made using pure materials to archival standards. Its attractive surface is created using natural woollen felt that gives it a distinctive random texture,
I origianally painted the elephant in colour following our visit to Catania on the island of Sicily. We were surprised to see so many references to elephants around the city. Apparently the elephant is a symbol of protection from the eruptions of Mount Etna. This black and white print would be perfect for a gift or as an addition to your own wall art collection.
The print measures 12 x 10 inches including the mount, ready for you to add your own frame.
