The Box of Delights inspired Herne & Kaye in the Wild Woods

** LAST ORDER DATE IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS IS 14TH NOVEMBER- ANY ORDERS AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE POSTED JANUARY 2026**
Miniature original watercolour painting embellished with iridescent accents
This is inspired by John Masefield’s wonderful book and BBC’s 1980’s television show, the Christmas classic: ‘The Box of Delights’.
No two exactly the same; I created a fun process of using a handmade stencil I created and lightly sponge in the first layer, when that’s dry I then paint details and added layers in rich archival quality Sennelier watercolour paints, before adding sparkling snow using handmade in the UK metallic watercolour accents.
Painted to order, so please allow time for me to paint your unique art.
Will be painted in blues, Paynes Grey and purples unless you request a different colour palette.
12cm x 12cm on 275gsm textured watercolour paper.
