Alice in Wonderland, hookah smoking caterpillar on a mushroom sculpture.
This little handcrafted, needle felt merino wool caterpillar, is smoking a tiny multimedia hookah, sitting on his needle felt mushroom surrounded by tiny flowers. Sculpture is on a wooden base. An ideal and unique collectors piece to add to anyone’s art collection, especially for Alice in wonderland and fantasy art fans.
Measures approx 20 cm tall
This wool sculpture is created by blending and shaping the wool by hand using felting felting needles. Other mixed media is used to create a unique collectable ornament. It is completely one-of-a-kind, and would make an amazing gift for a collector.
Please note that this is a piece of art for collectors, therefore not suitable to be used as a toy and due to small parts make it unsuitable for children.

Moonbrush Wood sculptures started from a small needlefelt kit that Antoinette Bix got for Christmas. After posting some of her creations on her Facebook page, people started asking to buy the small animals, and for her to make some more custom cuties.
Moonbrush Wood is the magical place where all of these animals and sculptures live. A place of old knarled oak trees and rampant with animals of various descriptions.
