Hello, I’m Ruth, the maker behind Auntie RuRu Sews based in the beautiful Scottish Borders.
I have always loved sewing and enjoy giving beautiful fabrics a second life. I source quality tartans, tweeds and carefully chosen thrifted fabrics, transforming them into handmade accessories for dogs and practical items for the home.
Every product is designed, cut and sewn by me in my home workshop, with attention to quality, durability and the little finishing touches that make handmade items special. Many of the fabrics I use are reclaimed or upcycled, so every piece is unique.

Handmade Items
All items are handmade by me in the Scottish Borders. Due to the handmade nature of my products and the use of upcycled fabrics, each item is unique and may vary slightly from photographs.
Product Information
I make every effort to describe and photograph products accurately. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings.
Orders
Orders are accepted subject to availability. If I am unable to fulfil your order, I will contact you as soon as possible and provide a full refund where appropriate.
Payment
Payment must be received before an order is dispatched.
Dispatch & Delivery
I currently deliver within the United Kingdom only.
Orders are normally dispatched within the processing time stated on the listing.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed once the parcel has been handed to the delivery service.
Returns
I hope you'll love your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return unused items within 14 days of receiving your order in accordance with UK consumer law.
Items must be returned:
Unused and in their original condition.
At the buyer's expense unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Personalised or custom-made items cannot be returned unless faulty.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing fault, please contact me within 14 days of delivery with photographs where possible. I will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair or refund.
Dog Accessories
My products are designed as accessories and are not toys. Owners are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their pet and regularly checking for signs of wear or damage. Pets should not be left unattended while wearing accessories.
Intellectual Property
All photographs, designs and written content remain the property of JasperBones and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Processing Time
As each item is handmade, orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 2–5 working days, unless otherwise stated in the product listing.
Delivery Area
I currently ship within the United Kingdom only.
Delivery Service
Orders are sent using Royal Mail (or another reputable UK courier where appropriate). The delivery service used will be shown at checkout.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times begin once your order has been dispatched:
Royal Mail Tracked 48: 2–3 working days
Royal Mail Tracked 24: 1–2 working days (where selected)
Please note these are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.
Shipping Costs
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout and are based on the size and weight of your order.
Packaging
I aim to use recyclable, reusable or recycled packaging wherever possible, reflecting my commitment to sustainability and reducing waste.
Delayed or Lost Parcels
If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact me through the MadeMe messaging system. I will work with Royal Mail to investigate and help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Incorrect Address
Please ensure your delivery address is correct before placing your order. I cannot accept responsibility for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect address details supplied at checkout.

Return Policy

I hope you love your handmade purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may request a return in accordance with UK consumer rights.
Returning an Item
You may return eligible items within 14 days of receiving your order. Please contact me through the MadeMe messaging system before returning your item.
Return Conditions
Returned items must:
Be unused and in their original condition.
Be returned in their original packaging where possible.
Include any tags or accessories supplied with the item.
Return Postage
Unless the item is faulty, damaged or sent in error, the buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage. I recommend using a tracked postal service, as I cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.
Refunds
Once the returned item has been received and inspected, any refund due will be processed using the original payment method within 14 days.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or you receive the wrong item, please contact me within 14 days of delivery, including photographs where possible. I will arrange a replacement, repair or full refund, and I will cover any reasonable return postage costs.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
Personalised or custom-made products.
Items that have been used or damaged after delivery.
