My mother was Italian so all of my school holidays were spent in Italy. It was there that I learnt to crochet, sitting with Nonna (nanny). Sewing I learnt from my mother at the time she did not have a sewing machine and stitched everything by hand. My love of fabric and sewing started then. Now I am a recycler. I upholster chairs and give them a new life. I love using recycled fabric when ever I can.
