I bought my first bitless bridle over 25 years ago, when choice was almost zero. It was a cross-under style that was made from a single length of uncut rope, including reins, with no additional hardware. I really liked the simplicity of it but the design was flawed and I felt, a little unsafe so I set about altering it. A few other bitless bridles followed later but ended up being altered, added to and modified in some way because things were never "quite right". And that was the start of making and designing my own range of bridles.
